{"id":16850,"date":"2018-11-05T14:36:40","date_gmt":"2018-11-05T05:36:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pp.u-tokyo.ac.jp\/?p=16850"},"modified":"2018-11-05T14:36:40","modified_gmt":"2018-11-05T05:36:40","slug":"2018-11-05-16850","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/graspp.neopa.jp\/en\/news\/2018-11-05-16850\/","title":{"rendered":"APEC Voices of the Future 2018\u53c2\u52a0\u3078\u5411\u3051\u3066"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"EN-US\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pp.u-tokyo.ac.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_1272a-300x154.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"409\" height=\"210\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-16891\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pp.u-tokyo.ac.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_1308a-300x192.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"328\" height=\"210\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-16893\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Five students from GraSPP are going to join <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">young leaders from other member economies of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC)<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> in mid-November in <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Port\u00a0Moresby,\u00a0Papua\u00a0New\u00a0Guinea<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pp.u-tokyo.ac.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_1278a-300x185.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"285\" height=\"175\" class=\" wp-image-16892 alignright\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">T<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">he APEC Voices of the Future (APEC VOF) is a unique program to bring youth from the 21 economies across the Pacific Rim and to give them various\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">opportunities for dialogue with business and economic leaders during <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">the APEC CEO Summit and the APEC Leaders\u2019 Week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The team visited the <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Support Council for ABAC-JAPAN\u00a0(SCABAC-J) ahead of their departure to gain knowledge about the opportunities and challenges surrounding APEC economies and to seek guidance for the team\u2019s successful contribution to the youth dialogue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pp.u-tokyo.ac.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_1314a-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"254\" height=\"169\" class=\"wp-image-16894 alignleft\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">At Ministry of Foreign Affairs on October 19, Mr. Hiroshi Akai from <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">APEC Division of Economic Affairs Bureau kindly spared his time to brief the team members on the APEC agenda for this year and then was joined by Mr. Keisuke Inada, a young diplomat and a GraSPP alumnus. At SCABAC-J<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0on October 31<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">, Messrs.
