Mr. Jerald Schiff, who served as Deputy Director of IMF\u2019s Asia and Pacific Department from 2011 to 2015, is going to share his experience at IMF.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Date and Time<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\">: <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">8:30am-10:00am on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 (Tokyo time)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Guest Speaker<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\">: <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Mr. Jerald Schiff<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Visiting Lecturer, GraSPP, who served as Deputy Director of the Asia and Pacific Department at IMF (2011-2015)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">About the guest speaker<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\">: <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Mr. Jerald \u201cJerry\u201d Schiff retired from the International Monetary Fund in 2015. He last served as Deputy Director of the Asia and Pacific Department at the Fund, where he led the institution\u2019s work on India, Korea, Myanmar, Singapore and Japan. He served in a number of other positions at the Fund, including as Senior Advisor in the Office of the Managing Director, and as a Division Chief in the European Department, where he led the Fund\u2019s work on several Eastern European countries. Jerry has recently spent several semesters as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Tokyo\u2019s Graduate School of Public Policy., and has also taught at American University School of International Service and George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs.
