Apply now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JOB INFORMATION<\/p>\n<p>Globalization Office at Graduate School of Arts and Sciences is seeking one teaching assistant to help various operations at \u201cUTokyo\/ANU Exchange\u201d, a joint course with Australian National University held in January and February, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The course comprises two parts: Tokyo part and Canberra part. The Tokyo part will be held between January 8th and 17th, 2018 and the Canberra part will be held between January 27th and February 11th, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The assistant is going to participate in the course throughout its duration including an overseas trip to Australia.<\/p>\n<p>The assistant will be required to stay at the designated accommodation with other UTokyo and ANU students near Komaba campus during the Tokyo part but she can attend her own classes and examination with prior consultation with responsible professors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For the detail of the course, please refer to the following page: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.globalkomaba.c.u-tokyo.ac.jp\/en\/news\/20170926-02.html\">http:\/\/www.globalkomaba.c.u-tokyo.ac.jp\/en\/news\/20170926-02.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>DESCRIPTION<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 PERIOD<\/p>\n<p>(Tokyo and Yamanakako part) January 8th- January 17th, 2018<\/p>\n<p>(Canberra part) January 27th \u2013 February 11th, 2018<\/p>\n<p>2. DUTIES<\/p>\n<p>Helping various operations of the course, mainly supervision of students and communication facilitation between professors in charge and students.<\/p>\n<p>A successful candidate will have a pre-course meeting (paid) at Globalization Office in Komaba campus.<\/p>\n<p>3. REMUNERATION<\/p>\n<p>1000 yen\/hour, maximally 8000 yen\/day, 40000 yen\/week<\/p>\n<p>4. QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<p>Being a graduate student at UTokyo<\/p>\n<p>Fluency in English (minimum of TOEFL 100 or equivalent)<\/p>\n<p>Excellent communication skills and leadership<\/p>\n<p>Proactive attitude toward learning of various areas of study<\/p>\n<p>5.
