Our Journey to a Sustainable Transport Future\u201d is a video competition for the youth. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will be hosting the 5th ADB Transport Forum in September. The premier gathering on sustainable transport in Asia and the Pacific, the event regularly draws international development and transport experts, government leaders and heads of private sector to discuss the latest policies, issues and best practices affecting transport and development in the region.<\/p>\n<p>This kicks off our outreach for the upcoming ADB Transport Forum. Building on the theme Sustainable Transport for All, we are seeking views, solutions, observations from young people aged 18-25 years old on how we can make transport better, safer, faster and greener. All they need to do is present this in video format shot on mobile phones or any camera. The details are in the pdf below.<\/p>\n<p>Who can join and how?<\/p>\n<p>1. Any citizen from ADB\u2019s member countries* between 18 and 25 years old. ADB staff,<br \/>\nconsultants, contractors, dependents and their immediate family (spouse, child, mother,<br \/>\nfather, brother or sister) are not eligible to join.<\/p>\n<p>2. Participants can submit more than 1 video entry. First, download and complete the registration<br \/>\nform. Second, upload video entry\/entries on YouTube.com, Vimeo.com, or Youku.com. Email<br \/>\nthe registration form and video link to memberstsgsecretariat@adb.org.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Deadline for\u00a0<\/strong><strong>submissions is on or before 12 August 2016, 15:59 GMT (or 23:59hrs in Manila time)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>3. Promote your video online by sharing it on Facebook and Twitter. On Facebook, tag Asian<br \/>\nDevelopment Bank \u2013 Transport, and be sure to set your post to public so we can see it. For<br \/>\nTwitter, tag @adbtransport. To increase chances of winning, participants are highly<br \/>\nencouraged to get support from their family and friends to like, comment, favorite, share and<br \/>\nretweet their entries.<\/p>\n<p>4. Use the official contest hashtag on your social media posts: #ADBAreWeThereYet<\/p>\n<p>5. By joining the competition, participants signify that they are willing to make the necessary<br \/>\ntravel arrangements in time for the ADB Transport Forum, should their video entry win the<br \/>\nJudges\u2019 Choice or People\u2019s Choice Award.
