However, against the backdrop of the chronical significant fiscal deficit, the government had to call for the PPP\u2014public private partnership, which has been having difficulties taking off in India. Mrs. Koda is going to focus on the background, the reasons for the failure of PPP and its consequences on the banking sector.<\/p>\n<p>About the speaker: Mrs. Madoka Koda joined Japan Center for International Finance in 1992 as a country analyst &#8211; economist. She spent years covering a wide range of countries and areas such as Indonesia, South Africa, European Union and Australia. She was posted to JCIF Representative Office in London from 2003 to 2006.
